Selection logic
Confirm vapour resistance, air-tight continuity, joint tape compatibility, penetrations, substrate and service temperature. Do not place the layer by a fixed rule without checking reverse seasonal vapour drives.
Application limits
A vapour barrier is not an exterior breathable membrane and does not repair an already wet insulation system or defective roof drainage.
