Material role and system position

A waterproof breathable membrane used as vapor permeable housewrap and an exterior wall water resistive barrier (WRB), limiting wind-driven rain and air movement while allowing outward drying.

Selection logic

Review watertightness, vapor permeance, tensile and tear resistance, aging, allowable UV exposure and project fire requirements together. A drainable housewrap claim also requires verified drainage geometry or an assembly-defined drainage path; vapor permeability alone does not establish drainage performance.

Application limits

This breathable housewrap does not replace the primary roof covering, flashings, an internal air and vapor control layer, or a designed drainage cavity. Product naming must follow the tested model and approved wall assembly.
